My Story

It was about 25 years ago when I executed my desire
for aesthetics and functionality by starting a career in interior design.
Ever since, I am planning and designing apartments, private homes, offices, doctors’ clinics and restaurants.

In addition, I custom design tailor-made pieces of furniture and iron works, partnering with the best craftsmen in the business. Through special inspiration and clients’ wishes, I create the exceptional exclusive piece.

The boost for my professional career was working at HaZedef, a studio and showroom where we catered for the high-end local homes with the top end local and global designs and manufactures for the home design. Followed that was running the Clive Christian luxury showroom in San Francisco.

After 5 years, returning to our homeland, I reconnected with my colleagues in the business and through successful collaboration achieved wonderful results and happy clients.

Every project I take upon, I manage with great passion. Directing all interior plans – electrical, plumbing, AC, flooring and ceiling as well as floor planning. I make sure the foundation of the design is ready for the next step. Each plan is custom designed to my client’s wishes.

By profound work that starts with listening to my client’s desires, incorporating his/her personal taste and my professional skills and experience, I lead a path of uncompromised work on the aesthetic side as well as keeping in mind functionality and budget.

The Atelier

A great deal of my early childhood I spent at my grandparents’.
They both had sewing machines and a huge table to work on.
It was in a tiny room but the major room in their modest apartment,
where we all spent most of the day. I loved watching them work: design and create tailor-made dresses and coats for the ladies, handmade sewn drapery, and unique embroidered garments.
They called this room “atelier”. It was the first studio I have ever been to, something I realized only years later.

Once I opened my own business of design and creation, although, in a different form, it was natural for me to name my business The Atelier.

In my atelier, from my chair with a pencil and paper or with the mouse and screen, I plan and design. But this is only one part of my process.
The process starts with getting to know my client. Good chemistry allows
a floating fruitful work process, based on professionalism and mutual respect. Understanding their needs, dreams wishes, as well as various boundaries and financial margins, is an essential part of my work.

Another essential part of the process happens far from the screen and not always in the company of the client: The ideas and inspirations for each project turn up in different ways and times of the day. This is the fine line between art and design, between an ingenious idea and functionalism.
